Forgiveness Slow Flow for Elul

  • nevei kodesh Boulder, Colorado (map)

Baby steps.

Forgiveness is not a linear, one-and-done event.

The Hebrew word for forgiveness, מְחִילָה — mechilah, is connected to מָחוֹל — machol, meaning circle dance.

מְחִילָה — MECHILAH

Forgiveness

מָחוֹל — MACHOL

Circle dance

Maybe this is part of the wisdom held in the word itself: forgiveness moves in circles, not straight lines.

There may be many cycles of letting go and returning before something truly shifts.

And there are many directions forgiveness can move:

~Forgiving others

~Forgiving the Divine / Universe

~Forgiving ourselves

Which one is calling for your attention right now?

Come join us on the mat as we explore forgiveness in the body, in the heart, and through movement.

Because forgiveness is medicine.

It can soften the places where we’ve been holding tension, empty the cup of what we’ve been carrying, and create space to be filled again—with new light, new energy, new possibility.

Baby steps. One circle at a time
