Elul, the final month of the Hebrew year, beckons us to soften, forgive, and prepare our bodies, hearts, and spirits for the new year ahead. This sacred season invites us into teshuvah—the practice of returning to our most authentic selves.

Through meditation, reflection, Jewish mystical wisdom, somatic practices, and energetic healing work, we will engage in cheshbon hanefesh (an accounting of the soul), gently tending to what is asking for forgiveness, repair, and renewal. Together, we will prepare the inner ground for the High Holy Days and the year to come.

While rooted in Jewish wisdom and the rhythms of the Hebrew calendar, this series is open to people of all backgrounds. You do not need to be Jewish, nor do you need any prior meditation experience. Whether you are seeking healing in a relationship, greater self-compassion, or a deeper connection to yourself, all who are on a journey of forgiveness, reflection, and return are warmly welcome.

Psalm 27

(Sacred Poetry from Tehillim)

ONE THING I Ask of the Infinite, One thing I seek

To dwell in the Presence all the days of my life

To awaken to the beauty of each moment as I pass through this world

THE INFINITE shelters me as I encounter difficulty and pain

The Infinite holds me close in deep and hidden places

-Interpretive translation by Rabbi Yael Levy
