Yom Kippur Heart-Work
5 Practices for You
✨Yom Kippur carries many names—the Day of Forgiveness, the Day of Oneness, the Day of Atonement (At-One-ment), the Day of the Angelic Breath, even the Day of the Windpipe. We each arrive here with different feelings—trepidation, fear, relief, wonder, awe, connection, unease… and all of it is welcome. This day offers us a sacred pause: an invitation to slow down, breathe, and let the body integrate the deep currents of this holy time.
🌑 Yechidah 🌑
The Kabbalists teach that on this day—and only this day—the deepest layer of the soul is revealed: Yechidah, the dimension of oneness. It is the spark within that is always connected to the Divine, the place where we are already whole, already one, already interconnected with all of life.
💫 Forgiveness 💫
Yom Kippur is the root of all teshuvah (return) and forgiveness. These practices invite us to soften, to forgive ourselves layer by layer. From that tender place, forgiveness can ripple outward—healing and connecting us back to wholeness.
